Meet Us

Meet Tim:


Tim has extensive training in horticulture through the Landscape Horticulture program at Oakland Community College. Tim is also a Certified Landscape Designer, having attended the accelerated program at Macomb Community College. Tim was born and raised in Farmington Hills, graduating from Farmington High School with honors in 2006.

He graduated from Albion College in 2010 with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Management and a Minor in Spanish, also doing work-study for five months in Spain.

Throughout Tim’s college career, he stayed involved with Wasmer Brothers by commuting home to work on weekends and working full time during his summer and winter breaks. Being a Metro Detroit Michigan native, Tim has a lot of pride for the area and regularly gives back to the community. Tim currently stays involved with the Farmington High School soccer program as the Head Junior Varsity soccer coach and the Assistant Varsity coach.

Meet Nick:

As a landscape designer and horticulture consultant, Nick continues to provide expertise to clients all across Metro Detroit.  Nick graduated magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College with a Bachelor’s degree.  During his freshman summer, he learned all about the qualities and needs of perennials at River Street Flowerland in Kalamazoo, MI.

He has managed the grounds at Pine Lake Country Club in West Bloomfield, and apprenticed with John Hollowell and Associates Landscaping in Ann Arbor, MI.

He also interned at the Horticultural Department of Purdue University. He wrote a senior thesis on The Effects of Sulfur on Growth and Stress Tolerance in Red Maple (Acer Rubrum) and received the Diebold Scholar Award, for an outstanding presentation of his thesis. Nick grew up in Farmington Hills, graduating from Farmington High School in 2003. Nick spends all his time exploring and learning about landscaping.
